This rod has been restored & now casts a line way better than it ever did before. Back in the 1960's, when this production rod was made, it wasn't given the correct amount of line guides in the proper locations. I've changed all that & now this is the rod it always wanted to be. Along with new line guides it also has a new brass winding check (above the grip), & a new cork grip. This new grip is a vast improvement over the original. The rod also comes in a brand new green rod bag & a zippered-top, padded rod tube with leather label.
Now it's in a much higher class of rods. This old production rod is now a great bass or salmon rod that will fish just like a custom made fly rod.
This is a great opportunity to get a nice rod at a wonderful price. All this for a modest price of $65. I think someone's going to get a real bargain here.
